Things aren't equal across the province when it comes to highways and safety.

Highway 11 in the district of Timiskaming has the highest rate (4x more likely to die in a highway accident) of mortality than if your vehicle was registered in Toronto. Also, the Ontario government has decided to let the MTO take care of the Gardiner Expressway now, so does that mean other municipalities will get a break from maintaining highways that the Harris (Conservative) government offloaded to them in the 1990's?
